Cârlibaba Pass (DC86A), also known as Bobeica Pass, sits at an altitude of 1225 meters and crosses the Obcina Mestecăniș range, connecting the commune of Cârlibaba in the Bistrița Aurie valley to Izvoarele Sucevei in the Suceava valley. The road is unmodernized and accessible with difficulty, being an unpaved communal road that crosses areas of dense forest and mountain pastures. The route offers spectacular panoramic views over the Obcina ranges of Bucovina.
