Izvor Pass (DJ175), at an altitude of 1110 meters, lies between Obcina Mestecănișului to the west and Obcina Feredeului to the east, connecting the Moldova Valley with the Suceava Valley. The road offers a scenic route through the heart of Bukovina, passing through dense coniferous forests and mountain meadows. The area is renowned for its wild and rarely visited landscapes, serving as a refuge for Carpathian wildlife.
