Neteda Pass (DJ109F), also known as Strâmbu Pass, sits at an altitude of 1072 meters between the Gutâi Mountains and the Lăpuș Mountains. The pass area is an excellent starting point for hikes toward Creasta Cocoșului (Rooster’s Crest) and Gutâi peak. Near the pass is the famous Budești-Cavnic “anti-gravitational slope,” an optical illusion that attracts curious tourists.
