Oituz Pass (DN11) sits at an altitude of 866 meters in the Eastern Carpathians, between the Nemira Mountains to the north and the Brețcu Mountains to the south. Oituz Pass holds exceptional historical significance, with evidence of use since the Neolithic period. The road is fully asphalted, fairly steep and very winding, with 14 hairpin turns. The area offers spectacular mountain scenery and access to hiking trails in the Nemira Mountains.
