Rotunda Pass (DN17D), also known as Rodna Pass, is a crossing in the Eastern Carpathians at an altitude of 1271 meters, connecting the Someșul Mare Valley with the Bistrița Aurie Valley. Despite carrying a national road designation, the section crossing the pass is an unpaved road. The scenery is spectacular, with panoramas of the Rodna ridges and ancient forests, at the edge of Rodna Mountains National Park.
