Țengheler Pass (DJ127), at an altitude of 1025 meters, is the highest point on the county road connecting the communes of Tulgheș and Ditrău. The pass lies in the Giurgeu Mountains. The pass takes its name from Saint Gellért (Gerard), patron of a wooden chapel built at the crossing. The paved road is open year-round and serves as an important link between two main valleys of Harghita County.
