Uz Pass (DN12A), at an altitude of 1085 meters, is a crossing in the Eastern Carpathians located in the Ciuc Mountains. The Uz Valley, through which the road passes, carries deep historical and emotional significance, hosting a military cemetery honoring fallen heroes from both World Wars. Approximately 45 km of road are unpaved. The scenery is wild, with dense conifer forests and deep valleys.
