Vârtop Pass (DN75), also known as Vârtop Saddle, is a crossing in the Western Carpathians at an altitude of 1160 meters in the Bihor Mountains. The area is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Apuseni Mountains, home to the Vârtop ski resort and serving as the starting point for Groapa Ruginoasă, Vârtop Glacier, and other unique natural attractions. The paved road is open year-round.
