Bucin Pass (DN13B), at an altitude of 1287 meters, crosses the Gurghiu Mountains of the Eastern Carpathians, linking the city of Gheorgheni to the resort of Praid. The road provides a direct crossing between the Giurgeu Depression and the Praid-Sovata Depression, serving as a popular route for both locals and tourists visiting the Praid salt mines or the surrounding ski areas. In winter, the road can be challenging due to snowfall, but it is maintained and open year-round.
