Creanga Pass (DN15), at an altitude of 1102 meters, crosses the Giurgeu Mountains of the Eastern Carpathians, connecting the towns of Toplița and Borsec. The road links the Mureș valley to the west with the Bistricioara valley to the east, offering a picturesque crossing through coniferous forests and alpine meadows. Near the pass summit, there is a tourist stop with a restaurant and wooden cabins. The road is paved and well-maintained, open year-round.
